Sarah and Dominique are two young women interested in applying for the dance program at Ohio University. Their teacher, and good friend of mine Jen, asked if I would shoot their headshots for their applications. I gratefully accepted because this sounded like fun.
Although the shoot was quick, we covered a lot of ground. The girls and I, accompanied by Jen's boyfriend Justin, shot at two locations-
the Ridges at Ohio University and Radar Hill, where I previous shot images of my friends Ali and Sarah.
The girls were sweethearts and very at ease in front of the camera. Both being so photogenic, it was easy to get the shots they needed for their applications, so I wanted to capture some more, what I called "girly", portraits in the fields of Radar Hill. Here were some of the final edits.
