Little Details

My friend Rachel is getting married in October. She and I met at a local swim club where we were both lifeguards and coaches. When she asked me to be in her wedding, I was very grateful. She has had some GREAT pre-wedding get-togethers. The following pictures are of some of the little details that I liked from both the bachlorette party that her sister and I planed and from her bridal shower.

Seared Ahi

Sesame and black pepper coated yellow fin tuna slightly seared, garnished with wasabi aioli, and pickled raddish. Served on a chilled plate.

Avocado Salad

half an avocado
2 slices of orange
extra virgin olive oil
squeezes of lemon and lime
citrus vinegar
sunflower seeds
fresh, diced tomato
cilantro
= a fresh and tasty side for any summer meal

Sarah

I was happy when my friend from school, Sarah, came to visit me in Cincinnati this past week. I took her to one of my favorite parks, Alms Park. The park has a beautiful pavilion and overlooks both the river and Lunkin Airport.

Whitney

Whitney and I met very recently through mutual friends. Her bubbly personality is contagious and we instantly became friends! Whitney and I got together today to have a miniature photoshoot. I anticipated it would be easy shooting Whitney with her experience with modeling, and it was!!
